About the Team

The Saluki Formula Race Team creates an open wheel race car using engineering principles and ideas learned in the classroom.

By taking the information that we learn in a classroom and applying that to a design project, we learn to become skilled employees once we graduate. Learning how to solve real world problems allows us to become more sought after in the workplace.

Not only do we use engineering principals, but we also have to utilize skills such as, marketing, finance, business, budgeting, leadership and communication.

We take our car to multiple different events each year.  We can be seen at locally at car shows and autocross events, and nationally at SAE sanctioned competitions.
